Product Manager
(Mexico City)
Geekbears, an award-winning design and development agency based in SF with offices in CDMX, is looking for a talented and ambitious Product Manager with solid experience in managing web and mobile UI/UX design projects to join our team in Mexico City. Qualifications
- B.S. in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, IT Management or relevant work experience
- High Proficiency in English (written, speaking, listening) You should have a TOEFL scaled score of 25 or higher in each section, or equivalent (CEFR level C1, IELTS 7.5, etc).
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager in web and mobile projects
- Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum and PMBOK
- Experience working with Development teams in creating professional well-formatted Web applications with a great UX/UI experience
- Detail oriented with strong management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter, ability to identify actionable steps towards completing objectives
- Experience working with timelines, deadlines and budgets for UX/UI projects
Responsibilities
- Manage web and mobile UX/UI Design projects: Project Timelines, Project Budgets, Project Scope
- Meet with our clients/partners based in the U.S. in English about updates, requests, project status, issues & propose solutions
- Collaborate with Software Engineers and UX/UI Designers, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
- Coordinate Development Estimates for proposals with the engineering team
- Gathering requirements for clients’ web and mobile products along with the UX/UI team
- Manage the UX/UI team, providing feedback to the project from a business perspective
- Ensure that the PRD (Product Requirements Document) is complete and functional for the team
- Internal and external collaboration with business analysts, UX/UI designers, and Engineering teams
- Collaborate with the UX/IU team in order to constantly improve our UX/UI Design workflow

- Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Experience living and working (or attending school) in anglophone countries (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand)
